Madison Athletic Foundation Scholarship

The Madison Athletic Foundation (MAF), a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, was created in 2006 to promote and support youth athletics in Madison, NJ.  The Madison Athletic Foundation's mission is to raise funds and provide resources to support athletes, coaches, premier facilities, and top-notch programs for youth sports in our community. 

 

The MAF scholarship was created to recognize athletes attending Madison High School in their senior year and their contributions to the athletic community through impactful volunteerism.  During the selection process, priority will be given to applicants who demonstrate strong sportsmanship, show passion and commitment to uplifting their communities, exhibit confidence and enthusiasm in their leadership abilities, and embody qualities aligned with the MAF’s mission.

 

Award: $2,500 scholarship for one female and one male graduating high school senior.

 

Requirements:

• Graduating high school seniors who have been a member of a sports team at Madison High School or were involved in an after-school or community - based sports program.

• They have contributed to improving the athletic community in Madison, NJ through volunteerism and community.

• Applicants must be accepted or intend to commit to attending an accredited college or university in any state.

 

Deadline:  Submission of the Google doc application is due by April 17, 2026. All applications submitted by the deadline will be reviewed by the MAF scholarship committee with the winners approved by the MAF Board of Trustees.
