Grant Application for Travel and Recreation Organizations
The Madison Athletic Foundation's mission is to raise funds and provide resources to support athletes, coaches, premier facilities, and top-notch programs for youth sports in our community.
The Madison Athletic Foundation accepts grant applications from board members of Madison travel and recreation sports organizations.
Grant Deadlines
The 2024-2025 grant cycle operates on a rolling basis, with the MAF grant committee reviewing applications as they are received.
MAF Grant Guidelines:
The grant request should align with at least one of the following criteria:

Facilities and Field Development: Enhancing or constructing sports facilities and fields.

Impact on Athletes: Initiatives that improve physical fitness, promote team-building skills, or enhance athlete well-being.

Coaching Development: Programs focused on the growth and training of coaches.

Sporting Equipment: Acquisition of necessary sports equipment.
Items Not Covered by Grant Guidelines
● Salaries or stipends for coaches
● Expenses benefiting individual athletes
*The MAF strongly supports grants that foster collaboration between organizations and promote equity in sports.
How To Submit a Grant
Please use this Google Form to apply for an MAF Grant.
After you submit your grant application, a member of the MAF board will acknowledge receipt. The Grant Committee will then review it. If necessary, they may meet with you to discuss the request further or return the application with additional questions.
